Workplace White Card Training
CPCWHS1001 - Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry
Skills Training College, an accredited training organisation (RTO), provides a SafeWork approved white card courses tailored for group training sessions at workplaces and onsite.
Our seasoned trainers guide participants, ensuring they gain the essential knowledge, skills, and personal awareness necessary for safe work in construction, including access to operational construction zones and sites where construction activities are present.
Currently only available in South Australia. Our White Card course is $125 per person (minimum 10).
Our program is streamlined for a single 6-hour in-person class, encompassing all knowledge, practical training, and assessments in one place.
Please note: Prior to attending the first aid training, we have a mandatory reading of the first aid learner guide. The time required to complete this depends on the learner’s knowledge, experience, and skill.
All students enrolling in a white card course must meet the following conditions:
- Reside in the state of South Australia
- Students must be 16 years old or older. (Please note: Students under 18 will be required to complete and bring a Parental Consent Form to class)
- Be capable of effective verbal communication by asking questions to clarify instructions and pointing out a construction problem or hazard
- Possess basic English literacy skills to read and follow simple pictorial safety instructions and instructions written in English
- Possess basic numeracy skills
- Provide vaild identification as per the Evidence of Identity Requirements
- Hold a Unique Student Identifier number (USI). (For more information visit https://www.usi.gov.au)
On the day of their training course, students must allow for a photo to be taken of themselves and used on their white card which includes their head, neck, and shoulders.
Once you have successfully completed this WHS induction course you will receive a statement of attainment:
- CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry
- A white card issued and posted by SafeWork.
- A statement of training certificate (valid for 60 days allowing students to begin work on a construction site immediately).
Location:
Workplace training can be conducted onsite or at a Skills Training College venue near you. Enroll 7 to 24 participants and we’ll train your staff at your worksite.
In the case where there are fewer than 7 participants, a minimum day rate still applies.
